Campaign Budget

You will need to have a very clear idea of how much you are prepared to spend on your campaign and where you will spend it.

Start with a basic spreadsheet and estimate what you will need to cover everything from the rental on your campaign office/s, electricity and telephone/fax/internet connections to your printed material, how-to-vote cards and advertising, and even to throwing an election night bash to watch the results come in with your supporters.

You will also need to include things like public liability insurance for your offices and for your volunteers on polling day, and covering campaign-related expenses for your campaign workers.
